Mission:
Promoting and preserving the ceramic and other
arts through facilities, equipment, education and
exhibits.
ACAI Studios is a
community studio operated by the Allied Ceramics Art Institute
(ACAI) a 501 C(3) California Public Non Profit Corporation. The
Studio provides the space, equipment and support needed for ceramic
arts. We offer outstanding artistic, educational, and collaborative
opportunities in ceramic arts. We serve everyone in the east
Sacramento communities of Fair Oaks, Folsom, Citrus Heights,
Orangevale, Gold River and Carmichael.
We are a resource
for personal and professional development for anyone interested in
ceramics, including children, inquisitive beginners, off and on
hobbyists, collectors, and emerging and experienced
artists.
Philosophy:
Everyone in the community has the ability to create art
a nd through it contribute to the beauty, excitement and
vigor of their surroundings and community. This is encouraged
in a community by providing a safe nurturing environment where
community members can develop skills in visual arts and crafts.
Community commitment to the arts and crafts is a vital part of
creating and maintaining a balanced community that promotes the
well being of its citizens.
Creativity, Involvement and Focus are essential
elements of Health and Vitality for both Individuals and
communities.
